  1. Most banks have checking accounts that earn interest.  However, you usually need to keep a minimum balance to avoid being charged any fees.  The fees are usually more than the interest being earned.  The interest rates are not that good, usually less than 1%.

If you get an online bank account, the interest rates are usually better.  You should do some research to see what kind of fees are charged.

  2. MOST OF THEM DO BU THEY ARE AT LESS THAN 1%. THE ONE ON MY CHASE ACCOUNT IS ONLY 0.5%

  3. I earn 2% at my credit union for checking, try a credit union instead of a bank.**  To Nerdyrob below, on your last question you answered you said that you are only 13, so you are 13 years old and have a checking account????  ** Actually, I just checked my account on-line, and I forgot that we get 6% interest on the first $500 in the account, then 2.00% for any money above that.  There is no minimum account balance for our checking account, no fees.
