  1. No,   A Class VI rapids is theoretically impossible to run. Once it has been run it becomes a Class V rapids. Both Vs and VIs are hazardous to life. Some Vs and VIs are posted. Try Niagra Falls....


  2. No.  there are no laws against running class VI water.  It's not very smart, but it's not illegal.

  4. grade 6 is almost always unrunable. even after a first descent it could remain grade 6. it's probably considered suicide but it's only ilegal if you die
