  1. I certainly am!

    Al

  2. SHshshs they'll hear you!

  3. Nope, they think everyone else has the problem.

  4. yeah normal people think they are crazy and crazy people think they are normal ;]

  5. NO...I AM NOT AWARE OF THAT

  6. They think that it is the rest of the world, I imagine, that if enough people tell them, especially if they are paranoid, they will think that it is a plot so to say...That is, if too many people confront them with this accusation. Some of them do not know, most of them don't know.

  7. DEFINE CRAZY. Everyone is different doesn't make them crazy. People are people. They all have their ways of doing things. What is normal?

  8. I would say a large percentage, depending on what their specific psychosis is.

You could think of it as the Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde syndrome.

  9. They're only crazy when their mentally-ill.

  10. Dang another crazy question.

  11. You can be crazy and not insane and visa versa, you also can be both. In either case most people with a mental problem know they have one (or more) problems. However, depending on the problem often their actions are dictated, dinsentientl imbalances and they may not be aware or able to control their actions at the time.

This knowledge comes from twenty years of working in a mental hospital.

  12. "Crazy" is a meaningless term.

  13. They often think they are spiritual messiahs. Ask George W Bush.

  14. I am fully aware that I am crazy. haha

  15. The vast majority of mentally ill persons are in treatment and they know they aren't taking all these pills for the fun of it. They know they are going to a psychiatrist for a reason. There certainly are people who are untreated and deny their diagnoses, but you will usually find those types of people under bridges and what not. I have schizophrenia and I am intelligent enough to know that when impossible things happen, they most likely are hallucinations, and when I hear voices that come from nowhere they are most likely hallucinations, and when I smell something that isn't there, it is most likely a hallucination. It makes it easier to deal with because I can ignore what is not real.
