  1. Fire is dangerous

  2. No, it depends on the fuel that's burning and the color of the flames.  Common fires that are burning from wood, the more red the flame is the cooler it is and the more blue, the hotter.  Other things burning can have flames that aren't even visible but burn much hotter so it really depends.

  3. Lets see... fire is the expression of an exothermic reaction caused by the combustion of a fuel source.  Diffrent fuel sources combust at diffrent rates or in other words releasing diffrents amounts of heat per time. Then there is the amout of oxidizer present.  For example a candle burns at a temp of about 1800F and a blowtorch 2300F.  Then there is always the sun an constant fusion fire.  Well thats just hotter than satans nuts!!!

  4. No.

The temperature of the fies is determined by the fuels used.  Some fuels need more heat than others.

You can GUESS at a fires temperature by looking at its color. RED flames are the coolest.  Yellow flames are next, and blue flames are the hottest.

  5. No, "fire" is gas released that is hot enough to emit photons. The gas is emitted by an exothermic reaction - "burning".

Depending on the underlying chemical reaction, and the rate of the reaction, different amounts of heat are emitted.

For example, if burning wood, you can make it hotter by blowing on it - adding more oxygen to increase the rate of the reaction, releasing more energy per second.
