Are all good games Bad?

I've noticed that the recent top rated games have been ones with content unsuitable for younger gamers. Is there a game that has a 9.3 or higher that you'd give to an 8-10 year old?

I'm asking this question because I've recently discovered that many people think inappropriate content makes things more interesting. I just want to know if there's a good game without it.

  1. Alot of the "Tycoon" series games are good themed.

Here's a link to alot of them....

  2. Being 'good' is a matter of taste. You need to provide more info so that one can suggest a good game to you. But you are right. Inappropriate contents are always fascinating as they are always banned.

  3. "Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2" for Xbox 360

    rating 9/10 on gamespot.com, everyone "E" (NOT teen "T")

    "Patapon" for PSP

    rating 9/10 on gamespot.com, everyone "E"

  4. Microsoft, xbox- arcade games, maybe viva pinata (but imo viva pinata is indirectly violent like beating pinatas to death and instead of blood candy comes out and they eat each other but its rated E) so...

Sony, ps3 and psp- arcade games, patapon, loco roco, lumines, ratchet and clank, and upcoming little big planet.

Nintendo, wii, ds- zelda, mario, pokemon games, wii fit, and harvest moon.

Microsoft has the most violent games (and they make most of them) and all little kids should stay away from it.

Sony is so-so but mostly violent on the ps3 but the psp is fairly friendly

Nintendo make the most friendly games and they're good games for the wii and ds.

  5. an extremely good, non profanity game would be digimon world dawn/dusk for the ds. also, of course there is pokemon. Wii sports is an excellent game, and for alot of platforms there is zelda.
