Are all hdmi cables have the same quality? i have a ps3 hdmi cable but my tv already has a hdmi cable w it.?

Use the one you have. They're are some differences in guage of the wires but if the the one you have works then you won't get a better picture from the Sony cable. Don't believe the hype. If your running a long distance (50' or more) then you may want to get a  thicker guage cable but buy it at monoprice.com.

most hdmi cables now are of good quality dont be fooled into paying loads of money for brand names that claim to use the latest technology ,my hdmi cable cost 20 quid and my dads cable cost 80 quid and there is no visible difference

i would get the cheapest one you can. because hdmi is all digital and your tv converts the digital signal inside the tv, so it shouldnt affect the picture..

you can spend a bunch of cash on hdmi cables with gold plated connectors, but its not like they wire the inside of your tv with gold, so whats the point?
