Yes and it is because they do not believe in eating meat that they also do not believe man should keep pets, many of which eat meat and are only used for humans, and others which they believe should all be free as they shoud not be "slaves."

No, I am part of peta, even though i am vegan now, i was a vegetarian when i first joined 8 months ago and my grandmother who is a meat eater is part of it. peta is not only against eating meat and dairy, they are against, fur, leather, etc. and pet animal cruelty and wildlife, they pretty much are against, protest, and try to stop anything they has to with with hurting animals. I campaign against, meat, testing on animals, fur, leather, etc, and pretty much anything they have there. And my grandmother campaigns against fur and animal testing, it any type of person can join!! you should too!!:)
