Are all models of Rubik's cube the same?

Are all brands and models of regular colored 3x3x3 Rubik's cube technically the same? Or are there some that are softer, easier to handle, better looking than others?

There are but not under the Rubik's cube company. Other company sell them with different characteristics like instead of solving all sides to be one color you have to solve a picture of some sort. I have even seen 6x6x6 cube. Still the rubik's cube company might be sell exculisive cubes that can be only bought online or such.
