Earning money from filling out surveys isn't a job, but it's not a scam, either. When I first started earning money online, I started with online surveys. They will earn you some money, but it's really not a lot, just few extra bucks here and there. A Google search will find you a ton of different sites and I can give you the ones that I've used, if you want.

Depends I suppose on how you define scam.  If you are thinking you'll make any kind of decent money, forget it.  Some do pay out in "points" that can eventually be cashed in for things like $10 or $25 gift cards or something of that level, but you'll spend a lot of time on many surveys to get enough points to get that $10.

Notice that most of your responders who are touting a particular site just signed up for Answers today.  Maybe because they got reported yesterday and bounced off the board, then signed up again today?
