No, if it's about good things in bible or any other book, they can be logically possible.

If its about bad things like you mentioned, it should not be believed whatever it may be the book name..

God does not support those things. There are commandments against murder and the like. As far as slavery, God mentions them as well. But slaves were only slaves to pay off a debt. Man's cruelty and greed turned slavery into what we think of it today. God tolerates these wicked things, but not for long.
