Is he the sort of man you would like to go on your night out? - I bet he'd be the last one to get a round in!

  1. To be blunt I wouldn't believe Brown if he told me Christmas Day was on the 25th December ! The man is a chronic and habitual liar.

  2. I don't believe him, although its not all his fault.  We depend heavily on the USA economy, who inturn depend even more heavily on Saudi Arabia.  The Saudi's have Trillions of dollars in the US banks - they pull the strings on the barrel prices for oil.  USA will not fall out with Saudi's as, if they withdrew their money the USA would crumple (taking us with it!).  Everything is about money and certain politicians ties to Saudi oil companies.  We are talking Billions here............

  3. I think this would have happened regardless of who is power, we are tightly bound with the american economy. However our economy has a natural cycle of up and down boom and bust, this is the natural balancing down we are experiencing now. Having said that I have no time for Gordon Brown he is true labour and yes I bet he would be in the toilet every time a round needed getting in.

  4. the problems are down to poor leadership with no plan B when the sh*t hits the fan, what do we pay these people for to fall down at the first hurdle ?.....:)

  5. No!I do not! Most of our economic problems have been caused by Gordon Brown's mishandling of the British economy during his tenure as Chancellor of the Exchequer! He is a political failure through and through! The sooner he and his political 'toadies' are voted out the better for the Britain and  the LabourParty!

  6. Most of that is true and ANY leader at this time would be in the same mess (Even the "saviour" Cameron whose spots have yet to change).

Oil price is here to stay and the credit squeeze is US fault.

  7. The man that sold our gold for about $200 an ounce, then watched it soar to nearer $1000 an ounce? Oops

  8. G Brown is most definitely NOT the type of man i would like to be associated with , he is a liar cheat and a back stabber most definitely not to be trusted , as for this claptrap about oil price HE is the guilty party what with his prattling on about GLOBAL warming when where ? a load of unadulterated tosh  it is now out of the window because it affects HIM, oh my his car MIGHT not get petrol well he does not have a driving licence , HE IS A THICKO NOT FIT TO DRIVE , what about the country , look out THICKOS in charge. I am Scottish, keep him

  9. Gordon Brown has a lot more in common with Maggie Thatcher than he has with Harold Wilson. David Cameron is keeping his powder dry, all he has to do is let Gordon keep talking.

It was the price of oil that got the American banks into trouble. Gordon as Chancellor should have seen it coming and ordered the Bank of England to intervene. Damage limitation was a possible option.

Oil and gas prices are out of control, but he could reduce fuel taxation which is effectively a stealth tax on everything in the shops that arrives by lorry.

I wouldn't drink with Gordon, he's taxed the a75e off that as well.
