i went to lebanon in 2005 and all the taxis were mercedes or BMW lol .. us lebanese drive in luxury, even in a taxi!

Not only are most of them Mercedes , most of them  are very old Mercedes.....

well we are improving day by day

now we have Taxi company's like safe taxi, trust taxi, fast taxi .... all using new cars mostly mercedes with AC hehehe

and we still have our Antique old mercedes which automatically comes with an old (over 70) driver, no AC, dust all over and a small towel beside him to clean his sweat :) and a price raise from 1000 L.L. to 2000 L.L. ou allah yestor

no, actually only the old taxi drivers still keep it, plus they can't buy another one, they're broke. but now, u see Mercedes, Nissan, and every other car brand. try the smart, they're very comfy!!!
