it must be disappointing to be a fan of a team who always gets so close but never snaches the win.. being a storm supporter lately we dont feel that but i know when we do lose its pretty awful.. chin up.. they'll win soon and u will be a proud supporter again =D

not yet but they will be soon,  the bunnies should have won on the weekend but fell agonisingly short.  In with a good shot this weekend against the disappointing tigers.

Funnily enough - here in the US - the people who take an interest in sport in general - other than NFL, Baseball and Basketball - know about Souths. i had one American telling me the history of Souths Sydney - had to laugh. All due to Russell Crowe. I rocked up to play in a soccer match and a Yank was wearing a South Sydney shirt while warming up (no - not an aussie - like me wearing my Tigers shirt to warm up - but a born and bred Yank).

So they may win the spoon this year (probably not though as on paper they are better than that) - but they are without a doubt the most famous team currently in league, and with the marketting and finances behind them - they won't be the spoon contenders much longer.
