Question:

Are all reading glasses the same?

I'm 42 and I cant read the paper, or directions on a label anymore. I borrowed a friends reading glasses, and they help. But are they all the same? Do I possibly need more? Its been about 8 monthes. What should I do?

  1. You really should have a Doctor give you a relaly good exam and then they can tell you exactly what to get for your reading and computer needs. An Eye exam is usually only about 25% vision check and 75% eye health, so it is something that should be checked at least every two years, if not yearly. Make and appointment and I be you will be amazed at what good visual health brings you!


  2. Yes your eyes are just getting a little weak.  You can try different strengths of reading glasses at the drug store and sometimes they will have an eye chart right there so you can make sure you have the right ones ;)
