My boyfriend would like to go to six flag's in California. There are three to choose from. If you know are all three the same, are they all water theme parks? We would like a water theme park, plus all the rides...just curious because the website doesn't really say...

thanks

  1. Some I heard are just 5 /12 flags, like in The South and other red States are 2 flags and a poster of a red States.

  2. I do believe the one in nEw jersey is different than some others. I know the ones in rochester Ny is different than the New Jersey one.. actually heard it amazingly better!

  3. While some Six Flags parks do have one or two of the same rides as others do, all Six Flags parks are different.  They each have their own sets of rides, and while most of them also have water parks I think some may not.

According to the Six Flags website, the three parks are Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, and Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor in Los Angeles.  Discovery Kingdom is an animal park and a regular theme park with rides--it doesn't look like there is a water park.  Magic Mountain is a regular theme park, and Hurricane Harbor a water park.  They are right next door to each other so they're basically the same place, but they will require separate admissions... so it seems like your best bet is to visit Magic Mountain & Hurricane Harbor.

If you want to take a look at all the parks, you can go to the "pick a park" section on sixflags.com and choose which park you want to find out more about.

    Hope this helped.

  4. the one in jersey is different from all other ones, it's great adventure
