Are all the Jr. fans glad he finally won one?...again...?

The sane Nascar/racing fans is whom I'm addressing this question to. The moment he won I knew there'd be alot of haters on YA saying he didnt really win yada yada but to them i say he won fair and square. 43 cars competed and they ALL had the same issues. Martin ran out of gas with 2 to go. It wasn't Jr's fault a caution came out on the last lap while he was running out of gas. But it was most indeed his fault he was in first place win it did. It's an automobile race, give credit where it's due. He's been running in the top 5/10 all year. It was only a matter of time.

WOO HOO! Congrats to Jr. and his crew! And to Chevrolet!

I foresee many more top 10's and a couple wins this year from Jr. not to mention a run for the Cup!

I've always been neutral on Dale Jr but seeing that smile on his face was priceless. With Rick losing a son and Jr loosing his Dad I think it was even more meaningful on Fathers Day. I hope he wins many more this season.

Yeah the haters are pretty pathetic. Speedy, Montoya won at Sonoma last year on fuel mileage, not by outracing everyone.

It isn't like Jr was the first driver to win on fuel strategy. This was very similar to a race last year with Greg Biffle in Kansas. It was considered controversial also.

Just because YOUR driver didn't does not automatically mean that the winner "cheated".

I will congratulate Tony Eury, Jr. for having the smarts for putting Jr where he was when the final caution came out. Wonder if it will be another 76 races before he wins again?

I am so glad he won for a third time this year (1st points race). He finally had some luck on his side for once. He was at the right place at the right time no matter what people say and he was smart to take the chance of either running out of gas or winning. Everyone is running to pick up a position or two on a green/white/checkered, so why not risk it. He didn't cheat and he ran a smart race. I can tell you that if they didn't have the caution, he never would have made it.

He passed the pace car about 6 times. They warned him after the first couple of times, but he continued to do it. Then they threaten to black flag Vickers on the restart, so there was no way he could get up there and challenge for the win. Jr. should take all these fuel mileage races he can, because his wins are few and far between. Next week we get to see what real drivers can do, instead of saving fuel in a race that NASCAR obviously played a part in.

It was the difference between Hendrick and DEI. Mark Martin WON Phoenix but was pulled off the track by an idiot crew chief who cost him the race. Jr. Got lucky with the caution and said he didn't have to he could have coasted and let every one guess when he ran out. Gordon would have, but I think in that moment Jr just didn't care. This is hardly a fluke he and Johnson have the best teams out of the Hendrick stables this year and his is THE best a statistical FACT.

Heck yeah! I was jumping up and down, I was so happy! I knew he could do it, I never lost faith in him at all. I can't even describe the feeling when he took the checkered flag :D He deserved to win, and you're right, he won fair and square. He raced clean and has proven even more-so that he is a great race car driver. Congrats Dale Jr.!  You're the Man!

To the hater's. I don't know what to say except grow up!  These hater's insinuate that "nascar let Jr. win" (YEAH RIGHT LOL), some say he cheated (GIVE ME A BREAK!), and they are scraping the bottom of the barrel saying he should be penalized for passing the pace car! Nascar and Tony Eury told him to back off, and he did. They gave him a warning and he heeded it.  I've seen other driver's who shall remain nameless because we all know who they are, get by with ton's of c**p and nascar has let them slide time and time again.

Jr. is really going to pick up his pace now! He's only 84 point's away from taking the point's lead. He is in the chase for sure and I believe he has a chance to win the cup series!

I do not really follow Junior ( I follow Harvick and Truex). But Junior absolutely deserved to win this race. He had a car that said was not handling well at the beginning, they made some gutsy calls, and he stayed at the top for most of the race. Congrats to you Junior and all of JR. Nation.

I'm soooo happy he won it was great I was jumping up and down and screaming and the smile on Jr's face was priceless it was perfect the haters were in full force some still are but oh well a win is a win and they can't take that away!! Jr did great he ran a good race and his crew chief took a chance and they got it done so congrats to Jr and HMS and all of Jr Nation!! and to the haters this is hopefully just one of many to come look out cause here comes Jr!! he's the man!!!
