Are all the Walmart stores in the US part of a chain?

Question

I was wondering if they are indiviually owned, or is it one big corporation?? The reason I was wondering is because I have worked for a Walmart and got fired for not having a medical note stating my illness...(few years ago)...Well they have a new Walmart in the town I"m living and I was wanting to put an application in there...If anybody knows the answer to my question I would greatly appreciate an answer. Thanks.

I don't know about that but I got fired from mandarin after one day because my boss discovered that I had been fired from another mandarin restaurant 4 months before.

its one big corporation and it is a chain. if they ask you about your employment history then just tell them that you were unaware that you needed a medical note and that you have learned from your mistake

They are a huge corp. You could still give it a shot. If you actually get to an interview and it comes up just tell them what happened. Sounds like a good reason to me.
