Are all the mega-star over-thirties of Indian cricket misfit in the shortest form of cricket, the T-20 ?

Considering the IPL, it is clear that OT's like Dravid, Ganguly, Laxman etc. are not fit enough to be there. Even Sachin would not make any difference had he played. It is my view. What's yours ?

This format of the game is new and names like Dravid, Laxman are ones who have achieved themselves in other respective formats. It is too early to make a judgment. Their experience could help them become better captains.

As said above, there are players in their mid 30s who have achieved well in this format. All it takes is one knock or one swashbuckling performance, lets not make stereotypes in this format. Shane Warne (a bowler) scoring 17 odd runs in the last over and winning for Rajasthan Royals. The T20 format is unpredictable and the thrill in it can be grabbed by anyone.

thats true friend...THESE PLAYERS ARE NOT PERFORMING...STILL THEY HAVE THERE VALUE...THIS IS BECAUSE ALL OF THEM ARE CROWD PULLERS AND THATS WHAT THE OWNERS OF THE TEAM WANT.(STADIUM FULL...POCKET FULL)...

Ya but consider this....

they are not even playing like one dayers...getting out pretty soon...may b they are trying too hard

But take case of Jayasuriya, Hayden and some others...they are rocking...

so its not that they are misfit...they just need to understand the game a bit

Good Question . Not all Tendulkar, Zaheer, and Kumble

are fit for all types of Game. Yes Laxman, Jaffer, Ganguli

and Dravid are not fit for one day cricket and for T-20

The way they are performing at the moment they sure are misfit but you can count on them to use their experience and fire when it matters.

I wont say they are miss fit, there are some other players with better skill set, available!

So it is all good for the T20 team India
