really just a rumour or is there an element of truth to it..who would have the money to buy us and clear the financial mess we find ourselves in...would murray leaving be a good thing..i for one don't want another romanov taking over...or would you like someone like abramovich in charge..would scottish football really interest a top name to invest in its not as if we get the financial turnover of the epl...

  1. Think it might be another rumour. It was on a Celtic fan website that there were 2 guys interested but both ran a mile when they seen the books and debt - obviously that is a biased view but there could be some truth in it. Murray is also owed £50m for moving the debt to another company. I do think he will sell up but regardless of protests etc, it will be a while before it happens. Wouldnt like an Ambromovich type of owner as I feel you lose some of the idenity of the club. It might be great having the money to sign anyone but that wont last for ever and they would get bored soon enough.

  2. ye who ave little faith,it's rumour

    nothing more,nothing less

  3. I honestly think rangers would struggle to get an investor at the min, their debt is huge, their reputation around the world has been tasrnished over the manchester riots, and any big sugar daddy wanting to invest in a football club would most certainly prefer an EPL team, as thats where the £ and lime light is

  4. David Edgar said last night that Murray had been trying to sell the club for 2 years now so I fully believe that he is...however the price is probably way too high as he wants his money back....

the fact that he wants to sell for me means he has lost interest and will not be putting any more money in.
