Are alot of teachers shy in their youth times as well too?

for instance,if you have a teacher that is funny, easy to talk to, and non-shy, does it mean that they are like this in their youth times also?

  2. I sure hope not. If so, there's no hope for the rest of us.

A lot of teachers (including me) were shy.  Becoming a teacher forces you to come out of your shell.  After a few years teaching, you don't feel at all shy around your students.  I think teachers who were shy are probably some of the easiest to talk to because they are used to listening more than they talk.  They are also more likely to understand how you feel if you are uncomfortable talking in front of the class because they have been there, too, and can give you some advice on how to overcome it.
