  1. I think it's just you.  Although the perceived demographic of fans are males age 18-25 with tatoos and piercings, I think it's actually quite different.

For example, we have a group of 10-12 guys, all 36-50 years old, that have UFC watch parties every month.  Only 3 of us are actually martial artists.  All of us are married and have professional jobs and live in the suburbs, all but a couple of us have kids.  We've done every UFC event for the last year.

About half of us are "hardcore" fans who recognize fighters by face and know history, etc, but most of us have been interested since early 90's before the recent boom in popularity.

I think there are probably alot of guys who are just regular guys.

The guys at the live events though, it's like $300 for a bad seat, so I can't blame them for being pissed.

The Tyson Griffin fight last night had a really bad beginning in the 1st round, too much passivity on both fighters and I think the booing was justified.  I think the Patrick Cote fight was also a big dissapointment and bad performance by both fighters, so I understand the booing.  Booing Forrest though, during the interview, was out of line.

  2. the Brits are the worst..they start booing after freakin 2 sec. of no action..I hate when they have fights on pay per view over there...and bisbing always wins even if he doesn't deserve to.

  3. You go suck a d**k you g*y ******. Your prolly from Canada aren't you. Your a bid douchebag and should go fall off a cliff or something.

  4. I wouldn't say American fans, just ignorant ones. They go to te fights expecting to see a KO in evey match. Can't please everyone.

  5. Street brawling in a ring using 'martial arts' are sad. It's the human equivalent of a dog or c**k fight.

  6. you c$%ksucking peice of s*it go f#*k yourself

  7. The problem is the people that are there doing all the booing arent the real MMA fans.  If you look in the crowd it is mainly celebrities and rich people.  The real fans are mostly people who cant afford $300 and more for tickets.  So the people you see there booing are not a good representaion of the average American fan.

  8. no, its not you, most MMA fans really are douchebags.

Although personally I think americans in general are douchebags, especially the kind you see on MTV's the real world, which I think are a separate species of creature outright.  The ones I can't stand most are those uncle tom, probably came from a priveleged life because dad was a traitor high yellow blacks.

I dislike whites (except the nice ones), but high yellow uncle tom "cool" "MTV" black people, I dislike even more.  I mean god d**n as if the suffering of black people in general wasn't bad enough, they just absolutely have to rub their comfortable lives in everyone's faces....

  9. I absolutely agree. I cannot stand when they do that c**p. Look at Rings, Pride, Dream, h**l any of the overseas promotions. They just watch the fight and make a little noise when necessary. Like a stand up war or some nice technical ground work. But at mostly all American MMA promotions they do nothing but boo. Sometimes I just mute the d**n TV when I'm watching!

  10. When you create a event I wont dignify with the word sport much less martial art where you can knock an opponent down and then jump on him and continue to hammer his head into the mat and he obviously can't defend himself you have created a blood spectacle not a sport.

I don't care if the fan is wearing a 5000.00 suit and earns 150 k a year or more  mentally and morally he belongs to the dregs of society when he gets up and screams "hit him some more" or boos because there isn't enough blood.

I think some of these guys get into a homosexual sado masochistic frenzy over this stuff.

A lot like SSUKID who makes homo comments to hide his own tendencys.Tell it to ST PIERRE DORK

  11. I don't think the insult to Americans was necessary, but...

I agree, American fans of MMA are just ignorant and want to see action. But, the only twist is, not only are American fans of MMA are ignorant, but so are other ethnicities and such. Our society has gone down as people, and so when we think of "MMA," we think about people beating the living c**p out of each other, therefore, we want action.

    So...there's the answer.
