  1. They are living "cells" to be more accurate. If you want to know if they are a "living organism" then they are not in their individual state, because a "living organism" is defined as: "capable of reacting to stimuli, reproduction, growth and maintenance as a stable whole".

    Only when the sperm and the egg merge together they become a viable living organism in development


  2. yes.. besides.. life begins with them.. when sperm meets the egg, it eventually becomes a baby.

    They both do what other cells do so I see no reason why they would be considered not living.

  5. Technically it's not living because it doesn't meet the MRSGREN requirements and it cant live outside of the body for any long period of time. But it is counted as an organism
