I believe so. I have trained and studied dog behavior as they work in packs. From what I know, the reason dogs and humans can live so easily together is because we too are pack animals. To go a little further with this answer, I believe we also have stereotypical but true traits in race just like dogs in breed. Like the labrador is known to be docile and the pit bull is known to be very aggressive, so to is certain races of people.

i think they are! the way people behave i think animals see this and act the same way! i.e. if humans are arrgessive then there animals will be too!

We both scratch when we itch, love cool water when we're thirsty, like to play, like to be stroked and loved, need grooming, need our toenails trimmed, need to obey rules for our safety. A few tricks would come in handy for humans, and some of them should be spayed and neutered. We should all be as happy as our animals when they see us. I also think a person's true character can be judged by the way he or she treats animals.
