Sure look at the Chinese and the panda bear.They make millions off them.Actually animals are a gift to the world and should remain a treasure for all.When a specie goes extinct it is going to have repercussions worldwide.

Yes.  Anything that can be utilized for profit or for survival is a natural resource.  So for the Native Americans, buffalo were a natural resource.  Today, however, I would say the most common animal natural resource is fish and other seafood.
