  1. Yes they are absolutely safe and have been passed by the Min of Ag.  or whatever they call themselves these days. You are not going to create a epidemic of flesh eating Martian monsters. they just love to kill slugs, saves the use of pellets, this helps the birds, frogs and toads, all of which by the way, eat slugs too..

  2. Yes :)

All you are doing is increasing the death toll of slugs in your garden by a few hundred. It will make little difference to populations in the long run as nematodes are an expensive control option so people use sparingly and only where necessary; around hostas, for instance, or young veg seedlings.

  3. Absolutely safe. These nematodes are there all the time, you are just introducing millions all at once. When the slugs are dead, the excess nematodes will die. I used them 3 years running and then found I had a plague of snails, because that's how Nature works!

  4. Yes, I use them and only ever use native animals for pest control- I haven't seen any suppliers offering nematodes that are not from this country, and think this would be controlled too.

They're around us all, but die off when there are no slugs to attack.

Hope this helps. Good luck! Rob
