Are any NZ companies making alternative fuels?

I heard that there is a company working on supercritical diesel(biodiesel) steam injection technology, both in finland and new zealand. A perfect material for engines that could handle the heat and friction would for example, nano carbon ceramics.  I Lanza involved with this, or are they working on something else?

I read about a company in Marlborough that's making bio-diesel from the algae in sewage ponds.

I guess there's a pretty endless supply of that!
