Are any Republicans disgusted with McCain's VP choice?

I'm not asking you to side with Obama or anything. But seriously, is anyone out there seriously disappointed with his choice? Palin will be a breath away from the presidency. She's young and inexperienced (the major criticisms against Obama, so that argument is down the drain). She has no foreign policy experience, and I honestly can't see how she would be able to keep our country safe.

Is this a disaster? If you think it's a good choice, please explain why :-)

  1. She is not running for President.

  2. No she's awesome.  It's time to get away from the gool ol boys in Washington and she is a corruption buster.

  3. mel that's a different look for you,,Palin will be a figure head run by big corps/oil company's as for McCain age if that's a real concern why did republicans put him up to the position anyway?   great question you must be on a learning curve...smile f.p

  4. I don't believe she has enough experience.  You can look up quotes from last month where she said that she doesn't even know what being VP entails.  If McCain were to become unable to hold office, he would need an experienced and qualified No. 2 to act as president.  I don't believe Palin has enough knowledge about foreign policy and many of the key international and even domestic issues the U.S. is currently facing.  Yeah, she's been a corruption buster -- on a relatively small scale though.  What major crises has she had to work through as governor of Alaska?  She isn't ready.  I'm a left-leaning Republican, and now I'm more inclined to vote for Obama, who has clearly demonstrated his intelligence, which Biden supplements as well.
