Tonight there were any number of Democrats who said, "Palin wouldn't be considered for VP if she weren't a woman."

Nobody on any network said a WORD.

Is there something VERY wrong with this picture?

Is this the "sexism" that Hillary and her supporters complained about?

Seems to me that it was the Obama campaign that called Geraldine Ferarro a "racist" for saying that if "Obama wasn't black, he wouldn't be where he is today."

Like you said, they are based on her s*x.  There are accusations of affairs with McCain, they are calling her son a "r****d", etc.

Let me tell you something(by the way I work in the news business here in NYC)....most people here are not impressed at all by Palin.  I'm serious.  It has nothing to do with her being a female but her lack of experience....any experience.  What was McCain talking about when he said Obama doesntt have enough experince when Palin has even less?!   Also he met Palin only once before and that's it!  Trust me...Democrats are as happy today as the day before.  Perhaps even more so now.

Their level of hypocrisy is amazing.  I always thought the Dem Party was the progressive party until this year's debacle. As a longtime democrat, I am disheartened by all their hypocrisy and blatant sexism (by both males and females).  This is one reason I can no longer support them.  I think that the arrival of Obama has created a monster.

I am amazed by the double standards of Dems. The only one who mentions race is Obama. "A black man running for president"....I have a color TV as most of America does....why is he not "just a man"?
