UCLA is the BEST value for your buck... go for it, since it has a fantastic film school.

If you want to stay on the west coast another school to consider is USC.  The networking at this school is phenomenal, of course the cost of this school is $$$$$.

You can't go wrong with either of these.  They are the best and close to all the important film business.  Get an internship.
