Are any of the cobra F speed drivers (2006 model) with the green shaft illegal?

Because my frend said it was illegal and im playing in a lot of tournament at the moment and i need to know for definate. so any links would be helpful

No. I had the same driver and the green shaft was stock.

The drivers themselves aren't illegal, but if you get a custom shaft it might be.  Make sure that your shaft isn't too long.

Both R&A and USGA lists are above.....suggest you look it up if you are concerned.

If the green shaft you are talking about is the Alida NV shaft, then no the club is not illegal. I havent heard anything about a cobra driver being illegal, but last year nike had some problems with the Sumo Square Drivers and the USGA,  but they got all that straightened out. If you have this shaft, then you should be fine. If you don't, ask your local pro or someone you trust, besides the person who's telling you its illegal.
