  1. Most of them are false. However, most boys are carried totally in front while there is more spread all over with girls. Also morning sickness is more common with girls.

  2. the only one I've heard of being somewhat valid is how close to ovulation you are when you have s*x...the further away before ovulation the more often it's a girl...the closer to ovulation the more often it's a boy....

Everyone thought my friend was having a girl and she is!

  3. I've heard that if you crave sweetes your gunna have a boy and if you crave fruits nd healthy stuff your gunna have a girl. but there is also that onw with a necklace over your belly and depending which way it swings is what you'll have but I dont know much about it but from what I have heard its right.

  4. They're just old wives tales. If they happen to be right, it's just dumb luck. They have a 50/50 chance of being correct.

  5. One myth about having a girl involves craving orange juice.  I absolutely believe this one since that is all I wanted to drink when I was pregnant with my daughter.  Couldn't get enough of the stuff!  LOL.

  6. Well when we are further along in your pregnancy you will see how you are carrying. I don't know how true it is for everyone but seems to be true about the women I know that have been pregnant. If you carry low then its a boy and carry high it's a girl. But I don't know, i guess it's not the same for everyone.

  7. i think the myth that is true is taking a wedding ban and tying it to a piece of string and wrap the piece of string that donsent have the ring around your fingure and hold the ring over your belly keep your hand still if it move side to side its a girl if it move round in circles its a boy. mine went round in circles and i had a boy. we just found out my sis is pregnant and did it to her and it went both ways so she might be having twins.lol well good luck

  8. No, the myths are not true.  They are just fun to talk about. Read more here.

  9. Well, I doubt many of them hold much truth, but they are still fun!  Here's a really cute little quiz, http://www.childbirth.org/articles/boyor...  that will tell you the s*x of the baby based on old wive's tales..take it and let us know what it says you're having!
