  1. there is a good PC newsletter here that answers all your questions about clearing obsolete files http://registrycleanercompare.blogspot.c...

  2. Should be safe to select all of them for cleanup. You probably should also defrag as well.

You can also save hard drive disk space by cleaning out old system restore points. Go to Control Panel, System, System Restore tab and tickmark "Turn off system restore on all drives". Click Apply, Click OK and reboot. When you log back on, repeat the steps and re-enable system restore and set a brand new restore. This process will purge older restore points.

You can also limit the amount of disk space reserved for system restore. To do this follow the same steps above but when on the System Restore tab, click the Settings button. There you can choose how much disk space is reserved for system restore points but make sure you don't set it at zero or you won't have any restore points to choose from if you ever have to roll-back.

  3. Go ahead with everything. It won't hurt anything.

  4. all safe to delete

  5. They are all safe to delete through the Disk cleanup wizard.

These are usually cached files so that you don't have to Re-download all the art and content from routinely visited websites.

After you delete these files your internet may seem to load slower because it won't have that reference material anymore.

You probably wont gain more than half a gig or so, If you are looking for A LOT more space you may just need to install a supplemental hard drive.

you can purchase 100-200 gigs for 20$ at

    Newegg.com.

    Good luck

  6. they are all perfectly safe to delete.  but i would recommend against clicking compress old files.

another good way to free up space is to use remove programs you don't use.  To do this go to control panel -> add/remove programs.

You can also buy a second hard drive for fairly cheep.  They aren't complicated to install and you can easily find a guide with google or yahoo search.

SATA 3.0 is the most popular type of hard drive right now.  If you computer is more then 2 years old you will have to check to make sure  it can use these.  Or you can just get an ATA.

btw, what you are trying to do is free up hard drive space.  Memory refers to ram, which is something entirely different.

  7. Un-check Compressed old files as this would take a LOT of time. Data too might be lost. All the other files are temporary files that should have been deleted by the application that created them, but were not. Recycle bin has files that you want to delete. Temp internet files are files that your web browser IE stores to show the images or objects to you.

  8. ITS SAFE TO DELETE:

    1.TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES

    2.temporary files

    3.Microsoft error reporting temporary files

4.NOTE:ONLY DELETE FILES THAT ARE IN THE RECYCLE BIN! DO NOT DELETE THE RECYCLE BIN ICON.

    5.temporary sync files

                            DO NOT DELETE:

1.downloaded program files:this can affect downloaded programs by not working!

    2.compress old files

    3.webclient/publisher temporary files

    4.recycle bin icon

    5.offline webpages:[not sure off]

  9. It dose not matter.you can clean it up.

for saving memory comres some programes.
