Are any of you ladies familiar with Vitex, or the luteal phase?

Hey ladies! I have a 12 day luteal phase, I get my period on the 13th day after ovulation. I know 12 days isn't considered a short luteal phase, right??? I know that a luteal phase of 10 days or less would be a concern. Would it be worth it for me to try Vitex, even though my LP is 12 days long? Does it need to be lengthened, or might this be the reason we haven't conceived? Or should I not worry about it, because 12 days is good enough? If you were to suggest Vitex, would it be taken throughout my whole cycle, or just after ovulation has been confirmed? Sorry, I know it's a lot of questions. Any input, or personal experience is greatly appreciated. Thanks ladies, and lots of luck and baby dust for all of you! :)

  1. Your luteal phase is fine:) I don't think you need Vitex and I've actually heard from women who have normal cycles and take it that it delayed their ovulation and messed up their cycles.

    I would advise against it.

    Baby dust to you!!! :)
