Are any one elses tips for this round stuffed like mine? This Yank is not a happy camper with his tips.?

I need both correct next week just to get four for the round. It is good that Melbourne won, Richmond, North Melbourne and Essendon all decided to win and not tell me of their plans.

I know I am the "dumb Yank" on this forum, but I study the Age website each week before I decide on my tips.

If you are stuffed this week on tips, please let me know I am not the only tipster that planned or guessed (yes most of my picks are guesses) wrong for round 14.

As of this moment (9:24 a.m. Tuesday in Melbourne, 6:24 p.m. Monday here in Kansas) I am going with Sydney and Geelong. If that is a mistake, please try convince me to change if you do not agree.

Well i guess thats what makes our game, the amazing upsets that occur, but well tipped because honestly who the h**l knew that they were going to win.

i mean melbourne, wow thats just amazing.

I tipped Richmond, North Melbourne, Brisbane and Fremantle so I didn't have a good weekend either.

I'm picking Geelong and Sydney this week so lets hope they get up!

I've only got 3 this round and I am NEVER tipping Fremantle again. North Melbourne are also so unpredictable too. I'll tip them against any top side, but from 6 on the ladder down, they'll lose. How can a team beat Hawks and Bulldogs and take it up to Geelong one week and then lose to Freo and St. Kilda the next.

Sydney and Geelong are pretty safe bets I reckon. Although Collingwood have won the last 4 against the Swans, I think with recent form, the Swans should get over the line.

Crows could win this one, only lost to Geelong by 7 points at AAMI last year and at $4.75 it would be worth putting some money on them :) Never count them out at home, still with that said Geelong should win :)

G'day Catter Boy, same as you mate 2, pretty ordinary huh.

How Melbourne got up and beat Brissy, geez.  The others were pretty much 50/50 except for the bombers, i really thought Freo were ;like 70/30 to win over there.

Strange round mate, 6 would have to win the round i would think.

Very hard round to tip, i would pick The boring Swans and the Cats to win. If they do win i will get 4 aswell.

**A few of those games (Richmond v Carlton and Fremantle v Essendon) could have gone either way but I actually went ok.  I've tipped the same as you for this coming weekend so fingers crossed.**

Mate just about everyone has had a shocker this (split) round.

I got the Hawks and the Doggys right, so that only 2 so far. (and I thought round 13 was gonna be my bogie round)

For a "dumb yank", your doing bloody well, and your answers are usualy right on the money- i for one say good on ya mate, and am glad to have ya on board

Ive picked sydney and geelong too..

Mind you I could get 8straight for the rest of the season and I still dont have a chance of winning my work tippings.. hee
