Are any other Viet Nam vets uncomfortable with Sen McCain's speech ?

I am sorry but something about this just doesn't feel right. Anyone else get a bad vibe ?

Senator McCain wants to be President.  He makes me uncomfortable, it is like looking and seeing George W. Bush again.  Yes, I get a bad vibe, every time I hear that name.

May the best MAN win! Although the master plan is & has been in effect & anyone who knows the bible it speaks for itself. One last thing,Politics well why bother? They F___ Gore out of the presidency, so use your head & the brains our GOOD LORD gave us!

I am not a veteran.I had many Friends who were some did not come back.But I know first hand the toll it took that war was like no other.The man had a hard time but no worse than some others.Every time I hear him speak its like a society of some kind can not fathom the meaning of it.Maybe one actually had to be there but he scares me in that he glorifies the suffering of it.He is about war its what he associates life with.That what I got from it.If it were just one time that's ok but it always feels that way when I hear him speak.But those things do not a President make and he seems alittle off the real issues.sorry.
