I'm from what most people would call a "rough" neighborhood. After getting accepted to college, my friends and all have like disowned me. I got a scholarship or whatever it's not like i'm taking my family's money. But they are yelling at me for "acting white" and all that. Is it a wonder that there is racism against black people when they clearly spereate the acceptable actions of a "white person" and a "black person" like that? isnt it just continuing the cycle? if white people and black people are indeed no better or worse from each other, then why do some black people (not me) try to segregate them based on how they "should" act?
