The days of politicians representing the poor and oppressed in this country have long gone!

These days they are mostly money grabbing lawyers and solicitors who 'know their way ' around the fiddles of Westminster!

Make no mistake about it!They are only in parliament to make as much money one way or another in the shortest possible time!

Add to that the consultants fees,directorships,honours  they receive at the end of it!Is just sickening!

Look at a nurse at your local hospital who grafts for the good of mankind!What does she/he get out of it!?A paltry pension!After a life of dedication!

Robbers and charlatans!That is what politicans are!

There is a Worcestershire MP, retired hospital Consultant, who stands as an Independent Member representing a Constituency which was "Sold down the Swanee" by the local Health Trust and Labour MP.

Since his owes allegiance to nobody but the people he represents and is not in the job to make money or seek higher office within the ranks of a Party, there is every chance that he is a honest politician.

I will never get over the embarrassment of belonging to the same species as a politician. it is a monster, an ogre, a malformity. I barf at the very thought of it. it has all the appeal of a paper cut. Lepers avoid it. it is vile, worthless, less than nothing. it is a weed, a fungus, the dregs of this earth. And did I mention it smells?

Local politicians are on the average..very decent as they don't make much money at their jobs and they still have a

lot of responsiblity to the people
