  1. Eucaliptes, Schinus molli (in Mexico is a tree invasive). That's correct the previous anwer.


  2. Oh, goodness, yes!

    Ailanthus (tree of heaven; chinese sumac; et.al.) springs instantly to mind.

    Eucalyptus is often considered invasive.

    Juniperus virginiana is considered invasive even in its native range (it evolved to deal with fire- fires supressed now- it grows like mad).

    PS... Bamboo isn't a tree.

  3. There are many many invasive tree species. Which species are invasive of course depends on your area. If you live in the United States go to google or yahoo and type in your state name and then DNR Department of Natural Resources. Once their you can simply look around a bit and find an entire list of all the invasive plant species in your state.

  4. Obviously it depends on your location.  For your own personal peace of mind I wouldn't plant bamboo unless controlled in a pot.  I'm a great lover of native plants and have struggled in a community where people are afraid of eucalypts falling and damaging their homes.
