We have a drought now. Is anyone trying to stop this?

  1. Yes. First and foremost, the government. They are trying to make us use less water. Most citizens are trying to help too. A family of 6 people only uses 360L a day!


  2. first and foremost, the question should be:  IS anyone... when using the verb 'are', it implies plurality. 'anyone' is singular in content, even though it implies many. now, in answer to the question, not really.  drought is a cyclical thing depending where you are. desert climates/regions has a time-table for rain & it is meant not to rain for sometime. the geographic area is fine; the people who move into areas are not used to the dry season - well, get used to it.  in areas where it is supposed to rain but hasn't in a while, nature takes care of that, too.  humans are moving into regions where we have to adjust and conserve. remember:  earth is never in trouble/we are!
