The Assyrians and Persians look similar but not alike since they are both Middle Eastern. So as their culture.

The previous answers are correct, Assyrians and Persians aren't the same but are similar. They do not speak the same language either, Assyrians speak Aramaic/Assyrian--language of Christ, while Persians speak Farsi. Ancient Persian art was largely inspired by ancient Assyrian art. And lastly, Persians are predominately Muslim, but also are Christian and Jewish. Assyrians are Christian.

Assyrians and Persians were both middle eastern peoples.  Assyrians came before Persians.  They are not exactly the same though.

They breathe oxygen and need water. Other than that, the Persian would not be happy if you got them confused.
