Are babies that are face up more likely to come by c section?

Im 39 weeks pregnant and my daughter is face up.

  1. not necessarily - they can try to flip the baby for you. or who knows .. she might surprise you and flip on her own


  2. Face up like head in the rib cage? Or face up like nose and eyes facing front of the pelvis. If it's the first one and the baby doesn't turn by the time you go into labor they most likely will do a csection, there are several ways you can get a baby to flip though, try here http://pregnancy.about.com/od/breechbabi...

    If the baby is just face forward, there is not an immediate reason for a csection and you can deliver normally. I would also ask the doctor what there plan is.

  3. My baby was what they call "sunny-side up", and she was delivered vaginally.  The doctor had to give me an episiotomy and used suction to get her out.  She is 10 weeks old and she STILL has the bruise on her head from the suction!  

  4. No my daughter was born face up they said that because she was face up she had trouble going down into the pelvis and it causes a lot more pain. I had a vaiginal birth  

  5. I delivered my son naturally and he was "sunny side up"
