Are baby clothes getting bigger?

My baby was pretty big - 9lb 3oz yet none of his 0-3 month clothes fitted him. The only newborn stuff we had his daddy bought - I always knew I'd have a big baby (they run in the family!)

Even now he is almost 5 weeks and last weighed at 9lb 8.5oz (making him too big for most 'newborn' clothes now) almost 2 weeks ago most of his clothes are still too big for him - like stupidly big!

He was a long baby too - not fat at all.

I just don't get it - are baby clothes getting bigger? and when do 0-3 month clothes usually start to fit?

i agree baby clothes sizes do vary by brands. Some sizes fit longer then others
