Are baby wipes ok to use as a makeup remover?

I have very sensitive skin and I heard that baby wipes are really good makeup remover for sensitive or dry skin like mine because their gentle and are alcahole free. Do you think they would be ok to use on my skin?

Yeah but the cheaper ones aren't really moistened enough to be useful, just don't buy the bargain type ones and u'll be fine (they feel like KFC wet wipes)

Yes. Baby wipes are excellent. I use them all the time.

yes! and when you get half way through the box/packet - tip it upside down and use them from the other end.

this way you dont get soggy wipes when you get to the last 20 :)

chyeaahh! i use em all the time their better than the facial ones because they havent got any stupid chemicals in them

Yes ofcourse they are.They're quick and easy to use so very convenient.Also, they contain soothing moisturisers which help keep skin soft.

Yeah it is. I use them all the time to remove make up. It's way more affordable and better for the skin.

yes, they are great to use on the skin to remove makeup. tip - you can also use vaseline to remove eye makeup and soothe dry skin and lips and is very gentle

Yes they are ok to use as make-up remover. I have done it for Years! In which case you just reminded me that I just forgot to pack some for my trip! lol Thank you! (Going out of state this weekend) BUT ANYWAYS!

Baby Wipes are absolutely awesome for removing makeup! When I clean my face with face wash I take a baby wuipe when I'm finished to get the rest of the make up off that the soap couldnt get! It works especially when you use the water proof makeup that wont come off as easily when washing with face soap! I as well have senistive skin and I havent had a problem.

**Baby wipes are made for sensitive skin since it's made for use on a baby's soft sensitive tush! So for sure it is ok. I"ve never had a problem. I love the feeling after giving my face a wipe from baby wipes after washing my face! :)

P.s. If you feel that it leaves your face dry.. Which I couldnt imagine it may but just use the wipe to clean off the make up and use a light moisture cream afterwards! :D

My skin is so sensitive and I use baby wipes instead of any other since others tend to be quite harsh. Also, I sometimes use baby oil on a cotton ball to get rid of any eye make-up that won't come off but always make sure you get all the oil off, otherwise any other make-up will just slide off! It's not good for making make-up corrections for this reason.

Yeah i think using baby wipes is fine just be careful if you use it on your eyes. I have the same skin type as you but they have a mosturizer at kohls i use for ten bux. it mosturizes your skin and it can also be used as a makeup remover. Its a pink bottle.

no no no...and ppl will tell you diferently.....

they will tell you, well, if you can wipe a babys backside with them..then they must be ok for you face....well let me tell you......

from painful experience...those ppl are wrong.......

i have very sensitve skin too..and i tried everything...from sensite wipes..to babywipes....of all kinds....and all the sensitive creams....

and the best thing that i found was this....'aquas'..cream.....

it much the same as.....'p45'......or...'oilatum'....whic... is basically ...a gentle cleanser for ppl that suffer frm skin conditions and that might have super senstive skin...

the 'aquas' cream..is non scented....and you only need a small amount of it...and the good thing is t its cheap....u can use it to clean off make-up...and u can use it as a moisturiser...its great..and it took me years to discover it..and its as common...as.........sliced bread!

wipe your face gently.....in a hot wet face cloth......get your aquas cream.......(comes in a tube or tub)...and message it into the skin...and take it off again with the hot wet face cloth...obviously the ht cloth will open your pores....(added bonus)..........it even takes of water proof mascara....its fantastic...........

give it a go....but stay away from the wipes........been there done that, try applying moisturiser after the wipes....you will hit the roof...and your face will be like a red flashing neon sign!.............

i have spent hundreds on facial cleansers..and creams...little did i know!..........

give it a go.what have you got to lose?...........(other then a layer of skin if you go the babywipes option!)

i have used them before, just make sure to rinse your face with warm water after wards, to make sure no soapy residue is left over, it could cause irritation if you don't. and make sure you get the hypoalergenic/ alcohol free wipes, just to be on the safe side!

sure its safe, but not too sure that its going to be effective, you may notice breakouts. A sensitive face wash like aveeno would be a better choice as a makeup remover, they have them for sensitive skin, and always follow with a moisturizer

I've just spent a weekend at a festival and believe me, baby wipes are the best invention EVER!!!! They are good for EVERYTHING!!!!

yup, I use baby wipes all the time for my make-up! There so useful to have in the house, you can use them for alsorts! There especially good for make-up tho ;) and if you mess up when applying make-up or summat then there good to use for that too. I reckon there no different from the make-up wipes if not better. From experience, I find they smell better and are kinda to the skin. so yeh I would say so, baby wipes are fine to use as a make-up remover! But to double check that you have removed all make-up you could maybe give your face a quick wash with soap and water to move any make-up that may be left. If you have a sensitive skin then baby wipes would be ideal bcoz they are made for babies so they wont have as many bad chemicals in them and will be better for your skin type.

yeah. baby wipes are fine to use in removing make up- it is use for babies so it wont have an ingridient that would harm your skin. I have a sensitive skin too and it works for me;)

Yeh I use them all the time to take off my make up.  I then wash my face with soap and water, just in case they haven't got rid of everything.

I do agree that they work amazing!! but for us girls, it turns out that they actually can clog pores and create white and black heads! so.. just be ware, I know a dermatologist, and she also said its not wise to uses them everyday.
