  1. Great question. I'm wondering this myself.

Is it accepted the same way for colleges (if you wanted to do a Masters) as it is in the workplace?

  2. Depends

  3. It depends on where they're from - you have a better chance of international recognition if it's from a top school (e.g Harvard) than a smaller institution.

  4. check the Bologna accord! they have the equivalent of every bachelor in every university and its value in the different countries!

    it s long and boring.

i have a bachelor degree from a uni in Switzerland and its the biggest joke in the world as it turned out that it s not valid everywhere. I have to stamp it in Switzerland for every little thing.

  5. It's down to the validating body and the subject. In America, and other countries there are 'diploma mills' churning out worthless qualifications, which may make some people suspicious of a degree from an institution they do not recognise.

  6. Well I know bachelors degrees, etc are recognised here in the UK, there is also a european framework in place that recognises higher national diplomas as credits towards certain qualifications - ie an HND say, would consist of 3/4 of the credits needed to be recognised as a Bachelors degree.
