Are bags / backpacks allowed at Cedar Point?

i am going to cedar point tomorrow, and when i was at canadas wonderland the other day, i noticed that almost half of the people had backpacks on. this would be great to carrry my wallet, cell, ipod and glasses without worrying about it falling out of my pocket or leaving it out in the open in the bins.

if they are allowed, what are restrictions?

Backpacks and bags are allowed in any theme park, as long as what's actually in the bag follows the code of conduct for theme park visitors (I.E. no guns, food). You are not allowed to bring them on the rides, however, some Cedar Point rides have lockers that cost a dollar to use and can only be opened with a key. If you're worried about someone taking your bag from the open bin, don't worry, because they shut the bins according to which train is coming into the station. For example, if they are running trains A, B, and C, if A is just released and B is coming into the station, only bin B will be open and A and C will be closed. When A comes back, they will close B and open A. That sounds confusing, but I think you get my point.

I don't think there are restrictions; you just have to have your bag checked before you enter the park.
