  1. Savory. Meat entrees are considered savory even though the sauce may taste sweet.

  2. I think it depends on the sauce used on them. Some are very garlic-y , and contain mustard, onions, peppers... all which I consider to be savory, and some bbq sauces contain lots of brown sugar or honey even molasses, which would make them more sweet.

Meat dishes can be sweet dishes, not "sweets", there is sweet and sour chicken or pork, etc, and I would not consider these dishes to be "savory"

  3. Savoury. Meat is not dessert, so it is not classified as sweet, no matter how much sugar is in it.

  4. sweet (brown sugar)

  5. Spare ribs are one of my favorite things to eat!

some barbecue sauce are slightly on the sweet side...

The sauce would usally be sweetened with honey, or brown sugar.

I like my sauce on the hot side.

Everyone makes their ribs in a different way.

The best ribs I have ever had are applebee ribs!

    DELICIOUS!

  6. Are baked beans a savory dish or a sweet dish? I hate sugar in my baked beans!

PS: You must be Canadian. Am I right?

  7. It really depends. Ifr u eat the ribs with nothing or regular bbq sauce, then it is definitely a savoury dish. But if u add honey bbq sauce or at least have some sweet marinade on the ribs, then it will become a little bit more of a sweet dish.

  8. both

  9. savoury. i couldn't imagine having them for dessert.

  10. They are meat so therefore they are a savoury dish...
