  1. BECAUSE SALT INCREASES TEMPERATURE IN EVERYTHING.... SUCH AS ICE ONCE AT 4 DEGREES AND ADD SALT ITS BELOW ZERO

Andesitic volcaones are more dangerous because the lava is more viscous (less fluid), so the lava channels tend to get plugged up and the volcano erupts explosively.  Basalt volcanoes (like Hawaii) tend to mostly gurgle out occasionally spitting some lava a small ways into the air but not causing catastrophic explosions.
