  1. It is more important with recurrent infections, but probably best just to avoid baths for now. Any bacteria on your body can float in the water and re-enter the infected area. Bubble bath or other fancy soaps can cause irriation. Bar soap can harbor bacteria also. Liquid plain soap is best if it becomes recurrent especially. Use a wash cloth to cleanse the area first, just wash cloth and water mainly.

  2. I am assuming you are already on antibiotics.

Remember to drink alot of water, the more the better, this is to neutralize the burning acid and help flush out the infection while on antibiotics.

You can use a heating pad over your abdomen to relieve any pelvic discomfort.

And to answer your question----Yes you can take a warm bath when you have a UTI. Although like you said, no bubbles, I would use some epson salts(200ml)   and a little bit of baking soda(50ml), it will relieve the pain in your back and abdomen as well as remove toxins and cleanse your body. If you must wash , no need to with the epson salts & baking soda, this is a natural soap of its own.  Hop in the bath and enjoy yourself, relax!

  3. Nope!  You NEED to wait!!  Remember that you have an INFECTION, and you can spread it with water, or aggrivate it.   NOT WORTH IT, get rid of the problem first, then take your bath.

  4. a shower seems alot more hygenic.
