Are beige walls too boring?

I am painting my room, and at first i was going to do a beige color but have lots of blue stuff, like a blue bedspread, and beachy pictures. But now i am wondering if beige is too boring, but i am still open to it. I am in high school so i don't want my color to be to kiddish, but i was also thinking about getting a serene blue or green color. But i don't know if lots of blue accessories in a room will go well with green walls. I just need other peoples opinions, i can't make up my mind.

  1. blue would look awsome with the biege walls, I love the channel hgtv look it up they show pictures on the net alot of beige walls with blue bedspeads etc.hgtv.com good luck

  2. I'd say go with white walls - it would contrast better with your blue colored stuff compared to beige walls.  If you don't want your walls too white, then go a bit off-white (I think it's called egg-shell color).  Good luck!

  3. I think beige (off-white) is actually better because it will brighten up your room with your dark colored stuff (not exactly dark but you know what I mean) in it. It will also give a "clean" impression.

Why not try to cover your walls with blue or green curtains temporarily and see what your room would look like in that color?

  4. go to the paint store and get some paint samples of blue/green shades or take one of your blue items with you to the paint store. There are greens that are more on the blue side and blue accessories will go with it.

  5. wait........ u mean ALL of ur stuff is blue?? i don't think so. If there is any other color of your furnature use dat. beige is not boring!!! in fact it would actually suite blu............=P

  6. no you could do a feature wall brown or red have a look

did you get a paint color sample? its hard to judge color when you need to see the color in the room your going to paint because of lighting.
