  3. Belizeans have mostly African roots, so I guess you can say black. They also have some French influence as evidenced by the Garifuna language. Belize is a melting pot of different cultures, but the majority, including the creole are of African descent. Belizeans cannot be categorically pinpointed as the influences are far ranging. Belizeans are not Mexican. Mexico and Guatemala have tried to claim Belize as their own, but it was an English colony and established independence in 1981. For Confused, there is nothing wrong with the word black. How is that different from you di call yu sista red skin and yourself brown skin. You dah from city no?

  4. first, you should be a little bit more polite when yo refer to persons. people from Belize has to connexion to Mexicans, Belize is beside Guatemala, and was an English cologne once, they have African roots, most of Belize people is black, and speak English, they are really nice, it's a beautiful country full of colors, jungle and parties, there are beatiful resorts and it's a nice place to go for vacation. I am from Guatemala.

  5. Hi, firstly black is not a nice word to use never the less, Belizeans are of different cultures. We have the creole,mestizo,maya,garifuna, east  indians and many mixed cultures. Some are light colored some are dark colored skin. It varies. I am a Belizean, I have a sister who is red skin and I am brown skin and we have the same parents.
